Institute Focus
The Science of Strategy Institute is an international organization
dedicated to training the adaptive strategic reflexes taught by Sun
Tzu's The Art of War. We call this classical front-line strategy. The term
classical refers to this system's origins within Sun Tzu's The Art of
War and its historical military application. Front-line refers
to the outward focus of these skills on external competition. Strategy
refers to process of adapting to external conditions.
Our training makes a variety of strategic management systems more
effective. Trained strategic reflexes are used by individuals at every level to make good
decisions in situations that cannot be planned. Its methods are used on
the surface of organizations where they make contact with the competitive
world. The value of good strategic reflexes is not organizational control, but
organization growth and survival. Strategic training gives
individuals the ability to see, communicate, and act effectively in dealing
with dynamic, unpredictable competitive situations.
